Apollo Energy Celebrates it's First Annual Megawatt of Solar!

With over 150 residential solar panel installations across the greater metro areas of Denver, Fort Collins, and Cheyenne, Apollo has been busy filling the entire front range with sustainable energy. The increased capacity can be attributed to our growing company as well as the 30% Federal Tax Incentive, which will be decreasing to 26% of total system cost in 2020.

So how much electricity is 1 Megawatt?

  • 1 Megawatt is equal to 1 Million Watts or 1,000 kilowatts.

  • 1 Megawatt is approximately 5,000 solar panels! .

  • 1 Megawatt of solar reduces approximately 32,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. This is equal to planting over 750,000 trees or removing 5,500 cars from the road for an entire year!
